Spanish Fork Fire & EMS Responds to Commercial Fire at Nature's Sunshine

Spanish Fork, UT — This morning at approximately 9:20 a.m., Spanish Fork Fire & EMS responded to a commercial fire at the Nature’s Sunshine manufacturing facility at 1655 N Main Street. A flash explosion occurred, and quickly burned out. Two Nature’s Sunshine employees sustained minor injuries and were treated on-site.

The building fire alarm and fire sprinklers functioned properly, and employees were evacuated. In addition to Spanish Fork Fire & EMS, units from Mapleton Fire & Rescue, Payson Fire & Rescue, Utah County Special Response Haz-Mat Team, Central 911, Spanish Fork PD, Utah County Sheriff Office, Spanish Fork Power, and Dominion Energy responded to assist.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Spanish Fork Fire Marshal.
