FAQs
How much are tickets this year?
Tickets are $10 each ($20 a couple) and includes a full food menu by award-winning Utah Celebrations Catering, dancing with a professional DJ, plus crafts and interactive performers.

The age limit is 18 this year, why the change? And how will you know?
As long as an individual is 18 or older and a legal adult, they are welcome to join us this year. This is also the typical age cut-off and, due to some confusion last year, figured this would make things easier. Like last year, we'll require photo ID in order to verify during ticket pick-up. (So make sure you have your ID with you!)

I have a friend/child/relative who is almost 18. Can they still come?
Short answer, no. Long answer is also no: since this is an event for legal adults, we don't require the same level of screening that we do for entertainers and performers as if they were working with anyone younger than 18. As a result, we are required to ensure that whoever enters is officially 18 by photo ID.

Good news, though: we're doing this ball every year, so once they turn 18 they're welcome to join us!

Can I bring my infant/young child with me?
Unfortunately, no, please leave your babes-in-arms and young children at home!

Why does this event have a formal/semi-formal dress code? Also, what does 'dressy costume' mean?
It's a ball! There aren't many places left where there's an opportunity to dress in full finery. Also, we haven't figured out a way to succinctly say: "The vibes for this ball are Phantom-of-the-Opera-Meets-Evening-Ballet-Performance-Attire-esque--since it's Halloween, costumes are absolutely encouraged so just keep them dressy, please."

In short, dress to impress, and if you absolutely want to wear that inflatable dino costume, swing by during our Trick-or-Treat on Main event later in the month!

I'm trying to figure out what to wear, what do you suggest?
If you'd like to be on theme, for this event we recommend outfits like masquerade dress, Victorian/gothic period costumes or outfits, or Middle Ages/Renaissance-esque witchy wear. Contemporary formal/semi-formal dress like tuxedos, dressy pantsuits, and other black-tie/red-tie apparel works, too! Local costume rentals are available, such as through the SCERA Costume Shop in Orem, as an option.

Do you make accommodations for food allergies?
We will certainly try! Contact us directly at 801-804-4492 once you've purchased your ticket. We have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options available in our menu for the event.

Are tickets only available online?
Yes, plus this year we'll be doing ticket sales via the sfcitytix platform (the same platform that Spanish Fork City uses for Rodeo tickets).

Will there be printed tickets this year and where can we pick those up?
This year we won't have printed tickets! You'll be receiving scannable digital tickets instead, although you can choose to print those out before you arrive. However, we will have handbills available that cover events, the floor schedule, and activities for you once you check in!

I want to come but I forgot to buy tickets! Can I stop by and purchase tickets when the event opens?
Maybe. Last year we sold out well before the event and didn't have the ability to take payment at the entrance. This year, if we sell out again, we'll have a waitlist available for patrons to be notified if spots open. If there are spots open when we start the event, we'll be able to take walk-in purchases!

What are the refund or transfer options?
To refund and/or transfer your tickets to another person, you'll need to contact us directly. For refunds, please contact us before Friday, September 28th. Tickets purchased after that date will be nonrefundable. Ticket transfers will be available up until the day before (just make sure to call us so we can get the right names on the tickets).
