Spanish Fork Police Investigating Auto Pedestrian Accident Involving Two Teenage Girls


Spanish Fork, UT — On May 18, 2024 at 3:30 PM two teenage girls were struck by a Kia Soul SUV at the intersection located at 2300 East Canyon Road in Spanish Fork.  Witnesses advised the girls darted out into traffic in front of the Kia Soul which was traveling Eastbound on Canyon Road.  The two girls were attempting to cross Canyon Road from South to North.  Both girls  are in critical condition and were taken to local hospitals and then Airlifted to Primary Children’s Hospital.  Spanish Fork Police as well as the Utah County Accident Reconstruction  Team are conducting the accident investigation.  2300 East Canyon Road is closed for East and West travel for the next couple of hours.
