Referendum Information for Referendum Z09-22

August 1, 2022

The referendum was deemed INSUFFICIENT as the sponsors of the referendum weren’t able to collect 6,013 signatures and get 27.5% in 3 of the 4 voting districts by July 29th, 2022.

This means that Ordinance Z09-22 Changing the Zoning Designation and Amending the Official Zoning Map of Spanish Fork City, for the Modera Zone Change will stay in effect and not be voted on in the 2022 election. The sponsors were able to collect 870 signatures, but because they didn’t meet the threshold requirements of the 6,013 needed, the signatures were not certified by the County.
