HOW CAN I DISPOSE OF ITEMS THAT CANNOT BE PLACED IN THE DUMPSTER?

Items that should not be placed in the dumpster can be disposed of at the transfer station in Springville (2450 W 400 S) for a fee. A list of those items, and their fees, is available on the Solid Waste District's website.

WHY IS THE CITY DOING THIS PROGRAM?

After two successful spring cleanups, the City Council has decided to continue this program and give access to dumpsters to all residents. By having several drop-off locations in town over a two-week period, with two dumpsters at each location, we hope to help residents dispose of their "spring-cleaning" waste.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF THE DUMPSTER IS FULL?

If you arrive at one of the locations and both of the dumpsters are full, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR WASTE NEXT TO THE DUMPSTER OR PILE IT ON TOP, please call the Solid Waste District at 801-489-3027. The District will be replacing dumpsters routinely throughout the day, and calling them will expedite that process. You can either wait for the new dumpster to be delivered or can drive to another drop-off location to dispose of your waste.
