Tennis Courts (Indoor)

Parks & Recreation

courtsThe Spanish Fork Indoor Tennis Courts are located at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds - 475 South Main St. The building was originally built as an indoor rodeo practice facility that was converted over to tennis courts. There are four courts with net dividers between each court and backdrops on both ends of each court. These courts are utilized by the recreation department for programs; by citizens through an annual membership; and by high school tennis teams. The courts are also used at various times throughout the year for special events, shows, boutiques, etc.

The Indoor Tennis Courts are available for use by members only during non-scheduled hours. Leagues, lessons, High School team practice, or shows will take priority.

Yearly Tennis Memberships

Individual Memberships may be purchased for $140.00 per year. A non-resident fee of $10.00 per individual membership will be charged if applicable. Family Memberships may be purchased for $200.00 per year. A non-resident fee of $20.00 per family membership will be charged if applicable. Family Memberships are limited to immediate family members living in the same household, 18 years & younger. All memberships are due for renewal by October 1st. The membership fees help to offset the electric and gas costs of the facility.

Memberships may be purchased from the Parks & Recreation Office. The Parks & Recreation Office is located at 775 North Main. Our phone number is (801) 804-4600. Individual photo membership cards will be issued along with the key. Locks will be changed the last week of September in preparation for the new membership year. Members renewing memberships should return their old key before they will be issued a key for the new year to the Indoor Courts. Renewing members should also bring their photo membership cards in so they can receive a new sticker. Renewing members that need new membership badges, will be charged $3.00 per badge.

Members may bring non-members to play tennis with, but all non-members must put court fees of $4.00 per person per hour in the drop box at the tennis courts.

Court Reservation System

Members have the ability to reserve court time through an on-line reservation system - sites.onlinecourtreservations.com. Once members renew or sign up, they will be given an ID and password for the online reservations. Members will be limited to 2 reservations per week (subject to change if needed).

We want to keep these courts well used but, at the same time, make them available to members for drop-in play or reserved time. We will also be looking to do more programming of the courts including leagues, lessons, and tournaments. Rentals will be held to a minimum.

The Indoor Tennis Courts are a multi-use facility. The City rents them for special shows and other events which helps subsidize our Indoor Tennis Court use, which by itself is not self-supporting. Because of this, members need to check for events and court closures on the Fairgrounds Calendar and the Recreation Calendar. Signs about events and court closures are also posted at the Tennis Courts.
