2016 National General Election

General Election: Tuesday, November 8, 2016

The Utah County Clerks office will coordinate and administer the 2016 National Election.

The following offices are up for election in 2016: Presidential, Governor, Utah Senate, House of Representatives, State School Board, Utah County Commissioner, and Local School Boards. More information on the 2016 Elections can be found at: vote.utah.gov.

Utah County Election Poll Workers Needed

The Utah County Elections office is recruiting poll workers for the 2016 Presidential Election. If you or anyone you know would be interested in working the polls, please visit: www.utahelectionworker.com to read the complete requirements and apply online, or call the Utah County Elections office at 801-851-8128.

Voter Registration

Please be sure you are registered to vote! If you have changed your name or address, even within the city, it is necessary to re-register. To register to vote in Utah you must:

  • Be a citizen of the United States
  • Have resided in Utah at least 30 days immediately before the next election
  • Be at least 18 years old on or before the next election
If you are eligible to vote in Utah, you can visit vote.utah.gov to:
  • Register to vote
  • View and update your voter registration information
  • View a sample ballot
