Stacy Beck is an honest, hard-working mother of four who wants to help Spanish Fork be great. The 44-year-old Spanish Fork-Salem Area Chamber of Commerce president feels that, with all but one of her children out of the house (her youngest is a junior at Spanish Fork High), she is in a position to bring a female perspective to the issues of city government.
Stacy and Chris, her husband of 26 years, are long-time residents of Spanish Fork and appreciate the close-knit feel of the community. However, Stacy knows that there is pride in progress and that an expanding community needs expanding ideas. Her leadership is built on a desire to hear all sides, study issues and make the best decision possible has served her well in her professional, ecclesiastical and personal endeavors.
At her heart, Stacy is someone who wants to live in a great community at the heart of Utah County and is willing to use her skills, experience, passion and energy to make Spanish Fork even greater. She will spend her time working to ensure that Spanish Fork will remain a place to which people — families and business owners alike — flock.
Why Are You Running For Spanish Fork City Council?
I love our city and would love the opportunity to serve. The hometown feel we have here in Spanish Fork needs to continue even though we are quickly growing. I also can bring a fresh perspective.
