City Council Member Richard Davis
Councilman Richard Davis was born and raised in Spanish Fork. He graduated from Spanish Fork High School and earned a degree in Physical Education and Mathematics form Utah State University. He has worked as a general contractor for the past 33 years, and has been active in the community as a Jr. Jazz basketball coach and a Pony League baseball coach.
He married his high school sweetheart, Tamara Thomas, and they have five children: Rory, Hayley, Lunden, Kiplyn, and Karissa. Councilman Davis enjoys playing golf and fly fishing.
Councilman Davis is serving his second four-year term and currently serves on the following Committees and/or Boards:
- Fiesta Days Committee
- Risk Management Committee
- South Utah Valley Municipal Water Association
- Waste Water Treatment Plant Advisory Committee
