City Council Member Rod Dart

Councilman Rod Dart was born and raised in Spanish Fork. After graduating from Spanish Fork High, he earned a degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University. He has completed a successful career in education, were he taught the 5th grade for 33 years.

He married Ann Swenson, also from Spanish Fork, and they have raised five boys: Ryan, Brandon, Kyle, Nate, and Nick. He enjoys sports and coached Pony League teams in Spanish Fork for 20 years.

Councilman Dart is serving his first four-year term on the city council and currently serves on the following Committees and/or Boards:

• Parks & Recreation Committee
• Chamber of Commerce
• Library Board
• Senior Citizens Board
• South Utah Valley Animal Services Special Service District
